The Secret Life Of Immy

Im back!

Hi everyone. The camp was great, we, well, danced. We had five days to learn three dances. I made tonns of friends aswell! On the first two days I had the worst flu! I was dizzy, had a cough, runny nose, the works. We rotated in all art areas. In music played the "chair drum", in drama we made small plays with catches and in art we made sculpters with glad wrap! I was soooo creative, I made a ping pong ball, also works as a srunched up bit of plastic with sticky-tape wrapped around it. We also did archery, conoeing, campfire with damper and A rigged treasure hunt, (no treasure!)  There were five lodges, we were in Maquarry lodge. In every other lodge the teachers crammed lollies down the kids mouths and sent them to bed, but in maquarry lodge we did meditation, and in maquarry lodge our wake-up call was different too! All the other lodges got a sweet little knock on each cabbin door, "time to get up kids got a big day ahead!" and Maquarry well the first morning we got a whistle in each ear, second morning our instucter got a big tin bin and wacked it with a stick until we got the message, and the last morning he put two over larged speakers on eached side of the logde and played opra music as loud as it could go! Mind you we did deserve it we were the naughtyest of  the lodges and well my cabbin was the noisiest of our lodge. thank goodness we will NEVER see them again!

Comfort food

Isn’t it just a crazy coinceidece that the night I find out that im rejected from (THE) school I have a dream of getting rejected for a work interveiw and proceding to dive home, open a whole bucket of strawberry ice-cream, then squirt a huge bottle of ice magic topping onto the ice-cream, while watching dirty dacing with a box of tissues close by! Wich gets me thinking ice-cream is comfort food, and then I think about what I might have been eating in my dream if something embarrasing had happend that day or heart braking, or even being jelious!

( what I think)

Embarrasing- cheese and bacon balls!

Heart braking-  caramal-filled chocolate.

Jeliousy- (sour) lollies, get it, heee hee hee.

Whats your fave comfort food?

YES!!!! and no, not quite.

Well my title has most likely got you puzzled. You could really put it this way, good news and bad news.

Unlike most people im not going to give you the option! you can read the bad news first ( insert twitchy eye chackle here) The letter for the performing arts school came the other day and the answer is no, turned down, rejected! But as someone very inspiring (my Mummy) told me " It dosnt matter if you dont get in, it just means that instead of being one of the crowd at The performing Arts you can be one of the best at Mt Veiw" followed by a bear hug!

The good news is…. only a couple of days to go until…- no not Christmas,  until…..- no not my birthday, until…. GATS camp! Gifted and talented, mmm turns out I am good at something.

Thats next week so dont be surprised if there are no more posts for about 8 to 9 days, ok.

might come and say good-bye, dont know yet!

But i’ll say it now (just incase)

bye bye.

It went ………

Filed under: All about me, twins

Sorry to leave you guys with no info, although im sure you read enough on Mums blog!

Well, on with it anyway… It went………. alright under the terms that Maddy and I were half expecting the routine to be jazz or something in between jazz and ballet, but no, nothing ever goes to plane now dose it? It was ALL ballet wasnt it, well we copped that in the face didnt we. Anyway… we got there and sat and waited for about 10 mins until the teachers showed up. Then we followed the dance teachers in and took our place on stage! We did some warm ups which were fun, then we started learning a fue dance steps. After that we performed the dance in front of the teachers.

Non of the girls had talked to each other, we all just stuck to the people we new, which was the reason we all got a big shock to walk out of the Autatorium to find all of the drama boys playing sherades!

Still, complete silence frome the dance girls!

We had 15 mins to eat and rest. Then we went for the workshop! First was dance, well we both breesed through that. Then drama, a bit odd ( but thats drama all over isnt it?) Then singing! we had to sing heads and shoulders with a large twist in it!

We most likely wont get in but we learnt from our misakes, learnt a couple of tricks and had fun!
